 JAC Unwraps Heyue SC RWD Coupe and Rein II SUV at the Auto China 2012

If some days ago the rumors said that the JAC will present a close to production version of its vehicle Tong Jian S11 coupe, now it is not just left as a rumor but it comes true.

Well, the wrap of the Heyue SC Coupe had been taken off by JAC at the Beijing Motor Show this year. as it showed on the display, the coupe is still keeping the design of Tong Jian’s original prototype that was showed at the past 2009 Shanghai Auto Show. Some differences only appear on its alloy wheels and racing stripes…

The company has replaced the hybrid driveline with the 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline engine to be applied on the Heyue SC Coupe. The gasoline engine is able to deliver output of 163 ponies and 217 Nm or around 160 lb- ft of peak torque. The unit then mated to a manual transmission that moves the rear wheels and is able to help the Heyue in reaching a top speed of 205 km/h or equal to 127 mph…
