 Artist Builds Stonehenge Replica to Promote Skoda Citigo

Do you know the Stonehenge? If not we will tell you a little information then. It is the most popular and mysterious, prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, about 2.0 miles or 3.2 km west of Amesbury. So what’s the point then?

Well, the a team of sculptors guided by artist Tommy Gun has already replicated one of the Britain’s most iconic monuments. The project is done in the effort of marking the launch of the new Model of Skoda Citigo. It is intentionally placed in front of the metal structure…

Interestingly the replica of the monument that is called as the Citihenge is made wholly from recycled car parts. It is placed on London’s Southbank. In building the replica itself, Tommy Gun and his team made use of 18 scrap cars. It stands at more than five meters tall or roughly 17 feet. Every henge is five meters in width and the weight of the structure is expected to be an incredible 36 tones…

The structure of the replica is raised into a vertical position on site in London in no more than 12 hours. Based on what is said by the creators, the replica has been developed to hold out as much 12 hurricane winds…
