The latest variant in the Up range had just been revealed at the yearly Press and Investors Conference held in Wolfsburg, Germany ahead of the new e-up! Global premiere that will be kicked off later this autumn at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show. The electric vehicle will be able to offer as much 150 kilometers of driving range minutes with just a single battery that can be 80 per cent recharged in just thirty minutes.

The electric motor that is able for 60 kW of maximum power and 40 kW of continuous power and 210 Nm of peak torque. With such power, the VW e-up!  VW Confirms U.S. Premiere of 2015 Golf Hatch and GTI

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf hatchback.  2014 VW Golf GTI Revealed in Production Model

After the concept study of the new seventh generation was unveiled at last year’s Paris Motor Show, now the production model of the Golf GTI is revealed. Just the same as the model it replaces, the new sports hatch features all the usual things usually installed in the GTI models, such as the red accent line applied on the grille that now runs to the headlamps, honeycomb grille inserts, smoked (LED) tail lamps, a rear spoiler, twin pipes, side sills and a diffuser…

The new VW Golf GTI that rides on a set of 17 inch alloy wheels mounted in 225/45 rubbers also get the same treatment in its interior that is completed with standard sport seats wrapped in classic tartan pattern fabric, a red ambience lighting, black headliner and a flat bottomed steering wheel…

We have talked about the similarities between the older and the latest Golf GTI, so what’s the difference? Well, the new Golf GTI is based on the brand’s latest MQB platform that results in the reduced overall weight by 42 kilos over the older model. The automaker is still retaining the design language of the first generation Golf GTD produced in the past 1982 to be applied in the new model generation. The diesel installed is a 2.0 liter common rail turbocharged inline- four that is mated to a six- speed manual transmission or a six- speed dual clutch DSG as the optional.
